Effective Use of International Law before Canadian Courts
Vue d'ensemble de la session
Limited international legal understanding on the part of Canadian lawyers and judges is no longer permissible in the globalized world in which we live. Legal practitioners must deftly manage and resolve these global and cross-border legal issues in the interests of their clients and Canadian society. The Philippe Kirsch Institute invites you to join the Honourable Justice Louis Lebel and Canada’s leading international law jurists in a one-day conference that will offer lawyers a straightforward guide to using international law in Canadian courts and tribunals.
Speakers: The Hon. Louis Lebel, The Hon. Kathryn Neilson J.A., Gib van Ert, Gloria Chao, Micah Rankin, Monique Pongracic-Speier, Michael Brundrett, Deborah Strachan, and Greg DelBigio Q.C.
