Jaime Ross, Ed.D. is the Training Coordinator at the International Institute for Psychosocial Trauma (IIPT) in California. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Dr. Ross has worked in hospital, partial hospitalization, non-profit, and private practice settings. He currently specializes in the psychological assessment of asylum seekers and victims of political and domestic violence, persecution on account of sexual orientation, and other forms of psychosocial trauma. Dr. Ross lectures, provides training on trauma and PTSD (including at the International Criminal Court), and educates legal professionals on how to identify signs of trauma in their clients and prevent re-traumatization. He has co-authored several publications on the individual and group treatment of survivors of political persecution.
