An award-winning author, Kent Roach is a Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. His published works include 12 books, essays, casebooks, and over 160 articles. He has been editor-in-chief of the Criminal Law Quarterly since 1998 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2012. Professor Roach has worked on landmark cases and commissions such as the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182. He served on the research advisory committee for the inquiry into the rendition of Maher Arar as well as the Ipperwash Inquiry into the killing of Dudley George. Professor Roach is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Yale University.
