In commemoration of the International Day Against the Use of Child Soldiers on 12 February, the Philippe Kirsch Institute is offering a stand alone video from its International Criminal Law series for purchase.

In this 1 hour lecture, Joseph Rikhof, former senior counsel at the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Section of the Canadian Department of Justice and adjunct professor of International Criminal Law at University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, explains the treatment of child soldiers as both victims and perpetrators under international criminal law.

The lecture is eligible for 1 Substantive CPD hour by the Law Society of Upper Canada and equivalency for the Barreau du Québec.
