We are thrilled to report that the PKI Global Justice Journal will be moving to the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University, one of Canada’s most prestigious law faculties, under the leadership of co-editors Sharry Aiken and Jim Hendry. A formal announcement will be made in September 2019.
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Centre for International Justice (CCIJ) has made the difficult decision to wind down the rest of CCIJ’s operations with a view to dissolving the corporation in 2020.
In 2019, we will continue to deliver our educational mandate through the Philippe Kirsch Institute‘s roster of online courses, focusing on human rights and international criminal law. Resources for victims in Canada will continue to be offered through our Community Engagement for International Justice site, to which new content will be added in the interim. CCIJ will also be posting referral information for individuals seeking information about redress for serious human rights violations shortly.
Please check this site for updates regarding future developments. In the meantime, we hope that other organizations will be able to assist with the important work of promoting international justice and accountability for serious human rights violations.
Thank you for your support and interest in CCIJ’s work.
